- Wedding: January 2012
It was sunny & -16C (about 3F) on saturday morning when I woke up to finish wrapping my boutonnieres & rushed to the hair salon. Then it was straight to the hotel where my girls were already getting ready. After forgetting my bouquets at home & then in the limo, we started the ceremony 30 minutes late but it was great cause I passed a couple of people still walking to the chapel as we drove by in the limo.
When it was finally time I got super freaked out by all the whispers (all I could hear was 60 voices all saying “so beautiful”) & zoomed down the aisle. It really made my skin crawl for some reason.
The ring didn’t fit…
Here we have Mr Rugbee & his mom. They look so alike!! There’s also a glimps of the centerpieces & boutonnieres my BM’s & I slaved over the night before.
Our First “formal” dance: a foxtrot to Fever by Beyonce. Mr Rugbee stepped on my bustle & the whole thing came undone. I ended up swooping it up over my shoulder & finishing it off strong.
Then the traditional greek first dance “Oreia pou einai h nifi mas” which translates to “Isn’t our bride beautiful”. My mom rocked out!!
Me with my 1 drink of the entire night!
& finally the garter!!!
Stay tuned for the professional photos!!
