my daughter was just born in may and we only used these bottles for about a month. one major reason we switched is because they were leaking while i was feeding her, when they were in the diaper bag, etc. it just got too annoying. we switched to the nuk bottles which she seems to be doing really well with. and they have the same principle, without all the crap you have to put in the bottle.

I never had an issue with leaking, but maybe you can call the manufacturer?  They might replace some of the parts/bottles, if the leaking is caused by malfunctioning pieces.

Also, even with putting the white insert into the bottle and tightening down the collar really tight, I still put the nipple and bottle cap on before transporting.  Maybe try that and see if it helps?

@mrstilly: Have you tried the medela bottles? Just the regular nipples with the bottles that come with your pump? They aren’t fancy at all, but we tried the breastflow and the dr. browns and had the same issues you are experiencing. We started using the medela bottles and my son likes them and we haven’t had any issues. I know each baby is different and the flow might be too fast(?), but it might be worth a shot!
