I was like that when waiting.  After two weeks I’d have a meltdown and the cycle would start again.  I know, it sucks.  Best thing to do is take care of yourself and do things that make you happy.

Oh man I am exactly like that. I hate it, you’re right it is exhausting. I want to be happy and cheerful, which I am sometimes, then I remember that I’ve been waiting for a while and just want to be engaged. I noticed I am worse when I have nothing to do. If I don’t have a specific task to do, or nothing that is improving myself I start thinking about it and just needing it to feel validated.

My cycle is MUCH longer, and feels super brutal. I’m ok for like, 2 weeks, and then I feel so frustrated and just WANT TO BE ENGAGED ALREADY! Actually, I just want to be married already. (soooo over living with roommates. and obvs I love my SO.)

YES! I feel the same way! I like how you explained it lol. It just sucks, some days are like ok whatever waiting is waiting, then it’s like you want to scream ASK ME ALREADY!

I swear for like 3 months I was convinced I was crazy.. untill I found the wedding bee and saw that alot of girls are waiting lol

@Clairedelune:  Story of my life girl! I usually have weekly meltdowns though I’m trying to get better because Ive told my bf I really want to get married next sept or oct and I hope he is on the same page. Therefore hes’s got to propose soon to give us a year to prepare (weve discussed in the past how long we’d need to prepare for a wedding, buy a house ect. and he knows we’d need at least 1 year to get everything in order). I really am making it a point to try not to talk wedding or engagement this month so he can have some space to buy the ring propose ect without me being completly ontop of him about it. Lord help me I’m on day 2/30 so far so good but i’m having to talk to myself alot and tell myself to stay calm it is in my best interest lol gonna be a hard month ๐Ÿ™

I swear the day I found Weddingbee after a fearful night of googling “pre-engaged” was one of the biggest relifes of my life. This place is a godsend.

My cycle is more day and night. During the day I am on the bee at work and at night  i am pintrest at home.

I have been trying to stick to my own bad advise and whenever I get flustered I take a good look at my SO. and I just melt. I know he is going to ask me. soon….definatly before V-day…But Looking at him, I know he wants to. Oh Goodness he is so cute. lol.

So my advice about controling “The Waiting Beast” is to look into the eyes of your beloved….Hopefully that will sooth the savage beast.

Mine seams to work together with “the time of the month” LOL And no I am not at my happiest at “that time” LOL

I go from sane to crazy every 3-4 weeks or so for a period of 3-4 days.

I totally have my ups and downs. My biggest problem is that work is so boring I have nothing else to thing about, which leads to the crazies! haha. I can’t wait to start school, so I can be distracted
