This has a tiny bit of beading.  You could also make more dramatic with a bigger crinoline underneath.  Not sure of the cost, but I bought a dress from the same designer and it was under $1300.  It’s from Sincerity Bridal.

Stella York (the fabric is Mikado which is another kind of silk, I think)

I would recommend checking out Watters and Wtoo.  There are a few nice ones that are bling-free.  I don’t know if they’re hard to find as samples or not, though; the store I went to didn’t favor the no sparkle look.

Edit: LOL, looks like I’ve been beaten to it.

I cannot be absolutely sure that the dress I posted is silk though. Mikado is a weave not a fabric, though it’s more commonly seen in silk from what I can tell. Stella York dresses are all under $2k, I believe.

Mori Lee has some of the prettiest and most dramatic “plain” wedding dresses at good price points.

@LoHall:  the first photo and the Stella York below are so fresh and beautiful, just –really nice. No distracting crap all over. me likee a lot. They are probalby enormously fun to wear.
