Ok. So I wear makeup on a daily basis. For work, i tone it down on the eye/lip stuff but the face is still overdone.  When I go out, my eyes are super dark and usually the lip is nude because I just have dark features so I do a peachy nude lip.

I plan on doing something of the sort:

Minus the super bright lips. I hope this stuff helps! 🙂 Let me know what you’re looking into as far as hot makeup goes! I need more inspiration!

Well even though my Make-up wasn’t as dramatic as the pics Mimoza shared, they are gorgeous inspiration pics. I feel I had more of a heavier makeup which is what I wanted and what my MUA acheived. I LOVED it!!

@Sweetescape1976:  You look gorgeous! I think your MUA did a great job.

@badabing88:  Oohhh I like those too! Personally, I’m leaning more towards the bottom one because I like having a little something on the bottom lash, and I love the dark red/maroon/brown color BUT Dark upper liner is just so classy, sexy and looks great on me…so idk. Great pictures though! And I love your every day make up too!

@badabing88:  I love the last pic you posted!! I wear light makeup on a regular basis- but I put on heavier makeup when I go out. I’m struggling between a more “natural” look since it’s a beach wedding and going with what I’m more drawn to, which is heavier eye makeup. I think this is a good compromise…

I usually wear pretty heavy eye liner each day, so i definitely wanted to amp up the smoke on my day– it lasted all day and turned out great in photos!

I find myself recommending going darking than normal on the wedding anway just because it won’t show up as dark on camera.

gorgeous inspiration pics!

A great place to look for insipiration is Indian wedding makeup.   They really make a statemen with the eyeliner and shading used.  You can switch the brighter colors to more neutrals but keep the intensity and placement the same.

I’m planning to use these pictures for inspiration myself even though I’m super pale.  It’s just about picking the right colors for my skintone

@badabing88:  I am so glad you posted this! I have been really freaking out about this. i usally keep my makeup pretty simple during the week, just because of my job but i prefer heavier make-up on myself.

I had a MaryKay lady do my make-up and this is what she thought would be good I hated it…

These are more along the lines of what i was thinking <—-im totally in love with this one!

I love this makeup, I have had it saved for years. I usually like dramatic eyes and toned down lips

I also love this lipstick, tho

Oh…. actually…. Will you be blonde or black hair for your wedding?? it will totlaly change the makeup look, I reserve the right to repost if you’re going to be blonde!

I did a smoky eye with a nude lip! And hot pink nails, haha. Nothing subtle here.

I always do a smokey eye when I get dressed up (not every day though). I asked my makeup artist for a very dark look, and she figured out how to give me the right balance between dark smokey and not looking punched in the eye on my wedding day. It was also all about the lashes, and I went with super dramatic ones.

I love dramatic eyes with big eyelashes and great eyeliner. Going for a natural, but defined lip. Adele’s makeup is always gorgeous to me.
