I’m right with you!  Total MAC junkie and love bold eye looks.  The thought of a Natural look on my wedding is just wrong to me.

I don’t normally go SO heavy on my bottom lash, so I’m thinking that might be a good idea for the wedding.  This is my inspiration picture:

This is me:

These are two that I’m considering. They arent dark, but they are bold (for bridal makeup.)

@badabing88:  I am going for my real trial in a few weeks. The mary kay lady was something that i won from a bridal show (me and every other bride there lol) and my bridesmaid talked me into it. She did everything i didnt want her to.

Me! I normally wear winged liner and some shimmery neutral shadow every day, and Fiance loves dramatic eye makeup (go figure). This is from my makeup trial (ignore the major red face):

Inspiration (I asked the MUA to add the thick/winged liner):

@mattsgirl813:  Thank you for posting the bottom pick of the blondish girl.  I havent found exactly what I wanted to do with my makeup til you posted this I love it, and am going to have the girl doing my make up try to duplicate it.  Thank you so so much πŸ™‚

All you girls are so gorgeous!!!

Is anyone else really nervous about someone else doing their makeup?  I’m doing my official trial for my shower.  The makeup in my photo was done by the same artist.  She wears really bold makeup too, so that at least sets my nerves at ease a bit!

@badabing88:  I am in the same boat! I am a full primer, foundation, powder, dark eye makeup, liner and mascara girl on a regular day going to the grocery store. I know that to look like myself and feel beautiful, I’ll be opting for heavier more dramatic wedding makeup as well. I have probably 500 different “smoky eye” variations on my wedding Pinterest that I am now deciding between lol.

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  Personally I would be more nervous if I had a MUA doing my make-up. MUAs are great, but the ones I’ve used in my experience never gave me the look I was going for and I didn’t look like myself. I had one in LA once do my make-up, and I was horrified b/c at the end, I had the Bettie Paige look going. That look is fine and all, but that is NOT me. That’s why I am going to be doing my own make-up for my wedding celebration – I think I’m the best judge of what look goes best on me. I will be doing an evening look (think Real Housewives of NJ) as my celebration will be at a nice loungey restaurant on a Saturday night – definitely more clubby than wedding. Like others have mentioned here, natural make-up is just not an option for me.

i’m wanting something bold on the eyes as well.  This is something my makeup artist did on one of her other clients. I’m thinking of asking her to re-create it for me for the wedding.

So happy I found this thread, I do my makeup heavy and dark as well and want the same for my wedding!

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  That’s the same inspirations picture I have and was going to post. LOVE it! Some friends and fam were telling me it’s too heavy for a wedding but I was like…REALLY? Do they not know me, I want my wedding day to reflect me, not who others THINK a bride should look like! But yeah, love love that makeup.
