Are you talking about something like this?

If so, the easiest way would be getting “table runner” type items and tying it around the chair with a knot.

Oh okay….something more like this?

Most people just use tulle or sheer fabric, or even seen strands of pearls to drape from chair to chair. Depending on what you use, usually you just tack the fabric onto the chair and drape from chair to chair. Are you using chairs or pews?

I think they use pew clips/fabric clips on the tops or sides of the chairs/pews to anchor the fabric. Most places won’t allow you to do anything more permanent to attach. The other thing you can try is if you’re hanging anything on each chair, with a ribbon or twine, you can also use that to wrap & drape the fabric.

I’m wanting to do this type of draping for our wedding.   Problem: It’s a catholic ceremony so I don’t know how communion would work if you can’t walk on the aisle.  Has anyone seen this done and know alternatives for communion?  Thanks!!!
