@nkwilson2: At least you realize that it’s not good to be obsessing. Weddings are nice but shouldn’t be an all consuming thing. Balance is a must.

@nkwilson2: I am with you, I am a planner crafter and DIY thinker constantly. I wish I didnt work so I could plan all day.

I am the same way.  I would rather spend all of my time wedding planning/looking up ideas, than doing anything else.  I get behind in my schoolwork, I don’t go out with friends, don’t socialize with anyone.  All because I am all wedding, all the time.

Your fi is right, it will be nice to have a break! Hopefully once your out with the girls you’ll forget about wedding planning and be able to have some fun!

My husband and I just took a “babymoon” and I thought it was going to be bad timing, as we just bought a house and wanted to fix it up before the baby comes. It was always on our minds, and I was nervous to spend all that time not fixing the house, but once I was on vacation I completely forgot about it, which was great!

I can relate my girls weekend/bachlorette party is this weekend. There is so more wedding stuff to do that I wish I could skip it. I’m also concerned about everyone getting along… But I know it will be nice to have a weekend away.

It will be fun! I am sure you will have plenty of time to get stuff done before/after 🙂
