Nerves are normal but from my experience, they all disappear the second your eyes lock with his the moment you start walking down the aisle. We could’ve have zero guests in attendance or 1000 & I wouldn’t have known. My entire focus was on Darling Husband & it was amazing.

Bee, I just got married last weekend and I TOTALLY feel you. I was so stressed before our wedding that I literally broke a blood vessel in my eye (true story, see my other post)… which just made me EVEN MORE stressed. I was DREADING being the center of attention, having to give a speech.. plus I had taken on waaay too many DIY projects that I was finishing up days before our wedding… but you know what? In hindsight, NOTHING mattered that day and all my nerves leading up to that disappeared the instant I walked down the aisle and saw my (now) husband smiling and waiting for me. No joke, when I as standing with my dad getting ready to walk down the aisle I literally felt like I was going to pee myself I was so nervous. But as soon as I started walking and I made eye contact with my groom.. it’s like everyone else disappeared. I couldn’t even tell you who was there, I didn’t care. I felt such an incredible high that it carried on well into the rest of the night. Anything after the ceremony felt like a total breeze. I even delivered an AMAZING and funny speech off the top of my head (which was shocking because I’m the same person who isn SO paranoid of public speaking that I would black out/ get a right throat if I was called on in class.. I was literally sitting in the bridal suite 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle scribbling my speech on paper because I was so scared to talk in front of people without having some sort of guide). But everything went well! Everyone’s there and they are all already so happy for you and supportive.. just remember no lme is judging you! Good luck bee.. and I found meditating and taking Epsom salt baths really helped calm my pre-wedding anxiety.
