It’s a shame when you find “the one” and know that the cost is unreachable.  I’ve thankfully never had this problem as I bought my dream dress for a fraction of the price and apart from looking at other ladies on here I’ve never actually looked at or tried on another wedding dress 🙂

I can relate to how you feel. My dream dress has and probably always will be Amy Michelson’s “Grace.”  Not only is it super expensive (5-6K), but Amy Michelson is no longer designing, so it has been impossible to find any store remotely near me to try on any of her dresses.  I would probably be willing to buy a pre-owned version (usually run 2-3K) if I had tried the dress on, but that is just way too much money to spend on something I’ve never even seen in person. So, I will just try to let it go and find a runner up dream dress Smile

I love the dress I have, but St. Pucci makes some gorgeous dresses. Luckily, I never saw one in person or I would probably be lusting after it too. I third the suggestion that you show us your dress!

@big_monchhichi: The back of this dress is beautiful. I can totally see why you would be in love with it. Agree with the PP about posting a picture of the dress you did get.

@aubiegirl: I love this dress. I hadn’t seen it until I joined this site and thankfully I already bought a dress that I LOVE or I would be determined to find this dress somewhere.

@aubiegirl: That’s mine too!!!! I love that dresss….. sigh. I couldn’t have afforded it, or worn it (no one needs to see my flabby back, haha) though.

Your dress is gorgeous! I know the feeling about loving “the one dress”.  I ended up getting my dream bdress ecause I refuse to settle and couldnt find another dress that could compare and I don’t have any regreats.  Btw, I got the sample dream dress since brand new was way out of my price budget.

@aubiegirl: That’s my dream dress too! Can’t handle the price tag though, even for the preowned Frown

@aubiegirl: I saw another bee with that dress, loved it, so unique and beautiful.  Btw, the designer…. is that Phil Michelson’s wife, the golf pro? (I think it is?!)

@big_monchhichi: You look beautiful, I see the similiar details in the one you purchased.  And you know what?  Your fiance will consider it a perfect dress for you!!!

I actually like the dress you ended up with a million times better than your dream dress, LOL.

@Mrs.Firefly1: Yep–that is Phil Michelson’s wife! She actually has/had breast cancer. Not sure if she has beat it yet, though. She is such a talented designer–hopefully she’ll be back to designing soon.

@big_monchhichi: Your dress is beautiful!! I understand your frustrations over the dream dress–but seriously, you shouldn’t worry because you look fabulous in your dress!!
