For those of you who had a dream dress that was out of reach, I am curious what the dress that you purchased looks like. Is it similar to your dream or is it completely different?
I love MANY dress styles, but the one that kept catching my eye was this Oscar de la Renta beauty below. There is no way I could ever afford it nor do they still make it, but what I ended up choosing was actually similar! It’s no where near the quality of an Oscar dress obviously, but for my budget I think I did well. I didn’t plan this either, but when I was looking back through my Pinterest boards I realized how much the dress I purchased resembles my dream dress!

Dsmikh04: I got it from a local bridal salon. Anywhere that carries Martina Liana should have it. Or you could buy mine

To be honest, we would have been able to buy a more expensive dress. However, when getting down to the nitty gritty it seemed very impractical to spend more than $100 on a simple white sundress.
This would be my dream dress. And even though I’m more than happy with my current, I still absolutely love this. It’s a lot more formal than my actual choice. This is a Cynthia Steffe $325
My dress has no designer. It’s from simplydresses.com and it’s only $39.00. Not only is it much cheaper, but it just fits our low key, destination wedding vibe a lot better.
