So since I’ve been spending some time on Pinterest and looking at pictures of all these amazing homes and places to live I can’t stop thinking out my dream home. I would be in heaven if I could live someplace warm and on the beach or extremely close. I would love to be able to wake up every morning and walk the beach and enjoy it again after work. My furbabies absolutely love the beach and are so cute to watch so having a home that I could do this everyday with them would be a dream.
If no obstacles stood in your way, what would be your dream home and/or dream locations?

I want to live on tthe beach or close to it as well… I want to live in Ocean City Maryland because I have family there and grew up vacationing there every year… my best memories in life are there.
The last few times we went last summer we scoped out a few homes for sale and saw different areas we liked and decided we would love to live in West Ocean City so were not right on the water but close to it. We also like an area called Ocean Pines soooo much. When you drive through it, it’s just like the suburbs back here in PA but the beach is so close you can smell the salt water. Some of the houses have water out back and docks for their boats. I’d love to have one of those houses so we could use the boat to go to our favorite club and bar and the beach as well.
This is our life goal now. As soon as my son turns 18 were going to start looking for a house there. =D

My dream home is on a lake and without neighbors close by, (but this is something I would want later in life. not right now). Something akin to the house in The Notebook. And it would have to have a large veranda.

I couldn’t have just one dream home. I’d have to have multiple.
A cabin in the mountains:
A beach home with easy access to great SCUBA diving:
A more normal home near family:
A fancy yacht to take me to all the other places where I don’t have homes:

@Mrs.KMM: I’ll take the cabin in the mountains! That house is gorgeous.

Is it too boring if I say I’d still live in Columbus even if I was loaded…? As for a dream home, it really wouldn’t be mucb bigger than we currently have (4 bed 2.5 bath) but I’d love for everything to be custom and top of the line. Awesome kitchen and bathrooms, state of the art media, wooded lot a little bit away from neighbors, etc.

Presenting the colonial/southern home of my dreams!!!

PS my dream home is nothing like my expensive, teensy home that I live in now. Sadness.

I would love to live in this 3 bedroom 3 bath loft apartment in NYC. Too bad I don’t have the 5.75 million that this one is currently listed for to spend lol

It took a minute but I found my dream house in my dream location! It’s just about $600K OVER what we have to put towards a house… I hope that changes in the next 11 years =)

I love these houses!
While I could afford my dream in 10+ yrs, I really want to experience it with my furbabies. I know they would love it 🙂
@HappilyEverAfter54- Your dream sounds wonderful and 11yrs seems very realistic.
@FutureKMM- I’d take the yacht 🙂
@CorgiTales- That’s wonderful that you love where you live. I do too but the warm weather just makes me happier.
@PinkMagnolia- That looks like the house in Sweet Home Alabama.
@mwitter80- Do you ever watch selling NY? Those condo prices are outrageous.

My dream home has more to do with the location than the house, although it would be nice to have both if it’s a ‘dream’ home!!
Something like this, in the hills of Tuscany, would make me happy for life!!!
