So my Fiance and I have been browsing the worldwide web for ideas for honeymoon locations. If I was rich, I would choose like all of them haha. But I have a few favorites that I know are way out of our realm of possibility, but these are my dream honeymoon spots. Share yours…your actual honeymoon spot or dream spot 🙂
#1: Club Med Kani, Maldives
#2: Jade Mountain St. Lucia Where All Rooms Have Infinity Pools
#3: (OMG I WANT TO GO HERE SO BADLY!) Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, Bora Bora.
#4: (This is our leader as of right now…we’ll probably go here. Beautiful and affordable) Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman (Sorry for this huge pic!)
#5: (Would be my first choice for a trip, not just a honeymoon) Venice, Italy
#6: Ayada Resort in Maldives
#7: Koi Lipe, Thailand
#8: Six Senses Resort, Laamu, Maldives

My dream location would be Italy and Spain! But its not possible so we will probably end up at Disney World/Universal Studios. 🙂

My #1 vacation/honeymoon destination in the entire world is Tanzania. We want to go on a safari during the wildebeest migration so badly. That is the absolute ultimate for me.
ETA: Forgot to include our actual destination. We’re going to Turkey & Italy

I have my eyes set on Bora Bora, it’s sooooooo beautiful and serene. Fingers crossed!!!!

@adoc86: My fiance and I were just there (that’s actually where he proposed!) and honestly it’s not a very honeymoon-y trip. It’s exhausting going out to track animals all day and you don’t get much privacy! Its an incredible trip but not very “couple-y” I think you’ll have a great romantic time where you are going 🙂
My dream destination IS my real honeymoon destintion! We are going to Bali 🙂

@aprilbride26: Yeah… I know it wouldn’t be super romantic. I just hope to get there one day before I die lol. Turkey was #2 on my list so I’m still happy 🙂
Bali sounds amazing!

My dream honeymoon location was Paris, and that’s where we went 😀 It was amazing!

We went to our dream destination: Tahiti/Bora Bora! We went on an excursion that took us by that Hilton bungalow and it is ridiculous! We stayed in an overwater bungalow at the Pearl. The bad part about the Hilton is that it is the only resort that faces away from the mountain – that was our reason for staying at the Pearl. Not like we would have stayed in that particular bungalow but it would have been nice to be near it! LOL

Oh, I meant to add: we went on a cruise and stopped in Grand Cayman and went down that Seven Mile Beach part for the day and it was gorgeous! We didn’t really do much besides lay out and go on a banana raft thing but it was beautiful and enjoyable!

We are going to Tahiti for our honeymoon! We will be staying in an overwater bungalow in Moorea and Bora Bora! I can’t wait.
We also thought about going to Europe…but Fiance really wanted to do a beach paradise, so we decided to do that (he has to twist my arm, can you tell? 😉 LOL and that we would do Europe another time.

- Wedding: November 2012 - Oak Tree Manor
We went to New Zealand and Australia for our honeymoon, and it was seriously a dream. LOOOOVED every moment of it.
Here were my runners-up (slash places we’d like to go in the next few years before TTC!):
1) Portugal (especially the quaint coastal towns):
2) Isfahan, Iran (DH’s family is Iranian):
3) Vietnam/Thailand (I’d love to go on a 2-week trip and spend time in both countries!) – this is Ha Long Bay:
4) Scandinavia. I’ve always wanted to rent a glass igloo and sleep under the Northern Lights:
5) Greece and Italy – my favorite two countries in the world, Darling Husband has never been.
6) Turkey – Istanbul, Cappadoccia, etc.

@adoc86: Where are you going in Turkey and Italy? I LOVE Italy but I’ve never been to Turkey – I’ll have to live vicariously through you! PM me if you want any help with your itinerary in Italy.

His would be Japan, and I want to see Greece, but in reality we’ll probably go to Guatemala for me

@HuskerGirl: 1. Jade Mountain St. Lucia for sure! But Club Med Kani, Maldives and Bora Bora look absolutley stunning!

@Mrs. Wallaby: We’re going to Florence and Istanbul. I actually have family in Milan so I have spent quite a bit of time in Italy – it always remains one of my favorites 🙂
I have traveled all throughout the country, but it will be my first time in Florence!
