I’m lucky to be working my dream job, now, as a supervisor in the fitness and health industry. I went to college to be a psychologist but somehow landed here in a convoluted way. I started as a fitness instructor and now have around 30 instructors and staff who work for me in this field, teaching healthy lifestyle and fitness programs to people of all ages – from preschool kids to adults. Love it!!

Dream: Working for a large museum (Smithsonian, American Museum of Natural History) as an archaeologist or in artifact analysis and preservation.
Preferred: Archaeological work on ancient sites in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. At some point, I think I’d like to teach or go back to working at a library.
Actual: Librarian and archaelogical student. I really love my job at the library, but I feel like I should at least try to persue my dreams of being an archaeologist.

This is great.
Real job: Mediator. No, it’s not as glamorous as Fairly Legal makes it look, although there are some similarities (I’m a lawyer who was terrible at actually practicing law).
Preferred job: I really don’t know. I like my job. As in, it pays the bill, provides amazing benefits and vacation and pension, and it’s super stable. And it’s 9-5, predictable, interesting, and I leave my work at work. I’d like to think I could be Super Litigator, but I know it’s just not what I’m good at.
Dream job: Makeup artist for movies. I’ve always loved that stuff.
