    book the amazing venue with the not so amazing co-ordinator

    ditch the venue and start fresh.. she will only cause headaches

    I wouldn’t book it unless I couldn’t find anywhere else. I just wouldn’t want to deal with someone that doesn’t reply to email. It’s just sooo frustrating.

    She should at least acknowledge your email and reply saying she will get back to you once she checks w/ whomever. I would try to see if you can maybe deal w/ someone else there. Otherwise, that’d be a big turn off for me…

    The coordinator out of any member of the staff should know more information that the girl at the front desk. If shes not acting accomodating now, she wont be when it comes time to really plan. Also, if she cant handle the stress of multiple appointments in a day, how does she handle the stress of a wedding day there???

    We ditched my dream venu because the coordinator was kind of crummy. We had a scheduled appointment and no one swpet the floors from the night before so as we were walking around our shoes were sticking to the floors, there wwas trash and food all over. This is how she presents a room for a scheduled appointment? Yeah right, we were not going to spend that much money if she couldnt be bothered to make things presentable for us, it takes 2 seconds to ask a staff member to at least sweep and make an attempt. Its not like our meeting was that early, it was a noon, floors should have been sweep LONG before.

    We had a simililar experience and I was not comfortable working with someone who didn’t want to assist me in planning my dream day. So I didn’t want to feel like that as wedding planning is already way to stressful. We booked a different venue based on her poor customer  service. We ended up with a true dream venue I am happy we moved on

    I’d write email a manager praising the day-of-coordinator and explaining you’d love to work with her for the entire wedding process since you “connected” with her.  

    Then email the wedding coordinator with questions.  cc the day of coordinator.  The day of coordinator is going to help you with this.  She probably works under the wedding coordinator but either wants the job or wants the job done right so as to make her life easier.  I would still go with the venue if it is your dream.  But I would try to get around this woman any way I could.
