It’s beautiful!  I think it’s definitely normal to get cold feet — it’s a lot of money for one of the most significant garments you’ll probably ever wear!  I actually spent six months trying on dresses trying to find one I liked better than THE dress…and when I couldn’t I bought it!

Oddly enough, I seem to "forget" how much I love it between "visits" with the dress…but as soon as I have it on, I fall totally head over heels again.

Is this the first time you’ve tried it on?  Maybe you don’t like it as much on *you* as you do in a photo?  I think it is normal to be a little hesitant, but I’m not entirely sure what you mean by "cold feet" in this case.  If you’re having real misgivings now that you’ve seen it in person, I’d wait and check out some more dresses first.  You have plenty of time so there’s no rush.  I loved my dress when I tried it on…and I love it at every fitting.  Yes, it was a little scary to actually place the order (she gave me a pretty big discount for paying up front), but I wouldn’t describe how I felt as "cold feet".  You should love your dress too…and you have plenty of time to get tehre.

I think it’s normal. I keep second guessing my dress! There are just sooooo many super beautiful dresses out there, all so different, and now we’re being asked to choose ONE of them to wear on our day and it will be our only chance to ever wear a dress such as these again (or so we hope!). Not to mention the cost! lol I think it’s a pretty dress though. Watters was one of my favorite designers, btw. If you LOVE it, go ahead and buy it, but if you arent sure, no harm in trying on a few other dresses to help you decide, if you have the time.

Wow, how funny, my friend bought almost the same Watters dress last week (it was more satiny but same general shape.) It looked gorgeous on her!

I think it’s easy to second guess, but my thought is that as long as you loooove the dress you’ll be fine. Yes, you might love another dress, but so what, you’ve still got a dress you’re crazy about. If you’re iffy on it at ALL though, I say wait…after all, if there’s one thing in the world there’s no shortage of, it’s wedding dresses!

Like the other ladies said, I think everyone second guesses her dress choice at one time or another.  I know every time I was away from my dress, I’d forget how much I truly loved it.  Once I saw it again, I realized how much I loved it.

I think the dress is beautiful.  I’d go back to try it on again and if you feel great while wearing it, trust your instinct.

I had cold feet about my dress so I waited to buy it for about a month.  After that I went again and I was still in love with it and bought it.  That dress is amazing!! How do you feel when you have it on? I actually felt like a princess in mine and that’s when I knew it was the one.

Yes I love the dress.  And Yes this happens and is normal.  I went thru this last year after buying my new suv..suddenly saw other vehicles on the road and when a few newer styles came out I wanted that too..suddenly my color wasn’t right..wanted it in black..

There will always be new dresses debuting.  Always.  But how the dress looks with YOU in it is what is perfect about it.  How it makes you feel when you wear it is also what’s making it the right dress.  Just be happy you found a lovely dress!  And focus instead on the other things at hand to check off the timeline wedding checklist!

You did great..I love the looks and lines of that dress.

Did you ever end up purchasing the dress?  Just curious.
