I usually love JCrew anything — although some of their dresses can have an unflattering waistline too high for those of us ladies who have long torsos.  I think maybe this one is a bit high on you — does it start to flare out before your waist is its smallest?  It looks like it might, and so it doesn’t seem to do a whole lot for your figure.  The tiers and the bubble hemline are also not my favorite.  It reminds me of both peasant skirts and down comforters.  The fabric is gorgeous, though.

It really is worth trying on dresses for hours when it comes to your wedding dress.  I wish I had shopped around a bit more for mine.  I didn’t care that much about my dress,  but I could have done a lot better.

Sorry it looks like the crinoline for under your dress or a night gown 🙁

To be honest, I’m not a fan…it does look like a petticoat that you might wear under a dress. Maybe with a jewelled sash?

Call me crazy but I think it’s unique and I like it!

I quite like it but I think it needs something added to it. The main thing is that you like it and feel comfortable in it, but if you yourself are a bit unsure then maybe it is not the right one?

I think its very nice and looks great on you; and once you add your accesories and bouquet I am sure it will look wonderful!!

If you feel good in it that is what matters.

It does kind of look like a petticoat or duvet, but maybe just because it’s not steamed/pressed yet? Please post final look w/accessories- I bet the completed look will be great!

I’m sorry but I don’t like it…..I think like others have said, it looks like a petticoat with the horizontal sections. I would be good to see it front on with your accessories to see the full effect

I personally am  not a fan of the dress but I’m also not wearing it, I agree with LauraRR in that YOU have to feel great in it. Some of the dresses I love other people hate and vice versa. You just have to love what you’re in & wear it proudly! if you glow in it I think people will notice!

It looks like the petticoat to me, not the dress. I would return it and go try on dresses.
