I think dress 1 is overall more flattering– gives you a better waist! I love the romantic lace, and honestly I feel that the VW one is more “average joe!” πŸ™‚

I like the first one better and it’s way more classic – it’s not Average Joe at all and in 20 years from now, you won’t be looking back thinking, man what was I thinking – ruffles were all the rage back then, children… haha.  I think they’re both beautiful and very flattering on you, though.  But, I would stick with the first.

@dearlydevoted:  I think you could find something better

Out of the two options I prefer dress 2. Dress 1 doesn’t seem to sit right.

I prefer dress 1 on you!! I find it more flattering….. Try to remember how you felt in it and ignore your brother….. There is nothing average joe about it.

@dearlydevoted:  First of all, you are so pretty! I wish I looked that pretty when I wear my glasses. πŸ™‚ I think #1 looks great on you. I actually agree mostly with your assessments of the dresses (you’re close enough to an hourglass shape in both dresses to pull them off):

    • 1: much more figure-flattering since the skimming silhouette really allows your small waist to shine through BUT that empire beading needs to be moved down to your natural waist bc empire waists tend to emphasize us pear-shapes because it makes the boobs look smaller; natural waists add more balance

    • 2: a really fun silhouette, but the tiered ruffles add some bulk to your figure overall; honestly though, the bulk is so minute that you could rock the second dress, no problem!

@dearlydevoted:  Both dresses are really pretty on you, but I prefer #2 because it seems overall more flattering and a bit more fun. I get what your brother is saying, it’s a very classic dress and perhaps not as much of a statement as the VW. I feel the empire line beading is not very flattering and the neckline seems to come up a little high on you. I would keep looking, or go for the VW as it’s the better of the two.

@dearlydevoted: Oh my I love the VW on you, it looks so good on you, like seriously wow. Think the less traditional suits you and possibly your personality (?)

@dearlydevoted:  Dress 1 makes you look very slim and it is more classic than the second so will look less dated. YOU stand out more in dress 1, dress 2 is a bit more overwhelming (if that makes any sense).

I love the first dress! Not to offend anyone but the second dress has always reminding me of toilet paper

I really like the David’s Bridal Collection (dress #1 on you). I think it is so classy and also much more figure flattering than the Vera Wang. I love classic elegance, and I think you have that in the first dress!!
