I love it! Normally I pick royal blue over anything but I actually love the burgundy. Second choice would be red. I think the dress would be flattering.

ETA: I can’t see the royal blue one well at all especially on my phone

Yep, the dress should be good on you, but I’d say with that design it’s all going to depend on how it fits up top. Make sure you have a good bra!

Re the colour, you have warm skin tones so usually burgundy is an excellent choice. (I have cool skin tones and can’t wear burgundy, but I can usually wear ruby especially if it’s a pinkish colour.) Certainly, the top photo of the burgundy would be perfect for you, but the bottom one is harder to tell – it looks a completely different colour, and the girl in that photo has cool skin tones and looks good in it. Are you sure it’s the same colour?

The safest option would be navy, which generally suits most people, but it won’t have that va-va-voom factor. I wouldn’t recommend the royal blue for you as it is a cool skin tones colour (I would wear that).

    Good luck!

Ruby. Nothing says va-va-voom like red.

Burgundy is a more eye catching color, in a sea of dress blues I think the navy would blend in more so it’s more what you want, to pop n or blend in. Personally, can’t usually go wrong with a pretty dark red like that!

I looooooooove this dress. I’m sure it’ll look great on you (although the top is a little iffy for larger chested girls, imo), and I’d go with the burgundy.

the navy will probably make you look slimmer, if that’s one of your main concerns, just because it’s darker. but i think the burgandy would look the best on your skin tone and definitely give that va-va-voom factor! so i voted burgandy…

and like a PP said, make sure you get a good fit on top! i’m wary about belted dresses. if they hit me at my natural waist line, with a fitted bodice, i look WAY slimmer. if they hit me too high and have flared/flowy bottom (empire waist), i look pregnant. =/

I have very similar measurements, and I would definitely consider getting that dress.  I think the Burgundy would look lovely on you.  It’s reddish for the sexy factor, but a jewel tone so its very flattering.

If you want to doll it up more, you can get a beaded sash for etsy to emphasize your waist.
