Hi Bees! I was hoping for some dress advice from you. I found the below dress and love it – unfortunately the price is quite a bit higher than what I’d like to pay, so I’m planning to get something similar made by Jasmine’s. But I figure since I’m getting it custom made, I can make a few changes. I have really big boobs (36F!) so as a result I’ve never been comfortable in strapless, and was thinking about adding straps to better hold the dress up. But I’m not sure if the straps will look good with this dress or not. So here’s where the advice comes in – should I get the dress made as-is, or add straps??
Here is me in the original dress (sorry about the crappy shot, it was the best one my mom could take -also this dress was too tight!):
Here is another dress Jasmine’s has made – basically I want them to keep everything about the dress above, including the original neckline, but add these straps (with matching lace to the above dress, of course):
Thoughts?? Thanks in advance for your help!!

Definitely add the straps – not only will you be more comfortable, but those straps are gorgeous and will absolutely enhance the dress! 🙂

The straps are really pretty, go for it!

I like the straps, and would definitely recommend them if you don’t feel secure and comfortable in strapless. You could always get them removable so you have the option.

Go for the straps, I think they’ll look fabulous!

I really love the straps on the Jasmine’s one – especially if they’re illusion straps with the sweetheart neckline showing underneath – so I say that.
You wouldn’t need the straps to hold the dress up provided that it has boning in it, but it would be more a confidence thing, so you feel more secure. I think the combined sweetheat/v-neckline would also put the right amount of attention on your face as well as your boobs.

Thanks for all the words of support, Bees! I think I’ll add the straps. Will email James back and let y’all know how the dress is looking – I might need some more help!
