Oh my gosh, I LOVE your dress! I was THIS close to actually choosing it myself, it looks gorgeous on you! I disagree with the PPs who said the bodice is too short, it’s an empire waist that sits at the teeniest part of your waist and I think it’s very flattering. But I do agree that it looks just a smidge too tight on top. I think the second picture looks better than the first and it looks like you pulled it up some, so perhaps it’s sitting too low.

Psp2015:  it looks weird…… it should be a lot tighter on the waist area because the tighter it is there, the less chance for it to go down and for you to have to constanly pull it up. And if it is tighter at the waist, then it doesn’t have to be extremely tight on the boobies like it is now. Think of it as a bit of a triangle shape pointing down. This is how I altered my ballgown and as heavy as that sucker was, it never moved an inch. I have 34Fs

You’re right!! Always go with your gut. In the first photo especially the top looks too tight and is squeezing you. Another PP said that the belt should be the smallest point but the chest area is actually smaller than the waist area, visually. Good call on getting back in touch with her.

I’d seriously find another seamstress.  If she thinks that’s the way dresses are supposed to look she is off her rocker.

That looks totally uncomfortable and it looks like you going to flash areola any sec.

It’s too low and too tight, like your boobs are cut in half.

I wouldnt be very happy with my seamstress if she said it should be that way, regardless of what it should be like, if you don’t want it that way then she should be running to the sewing machine to make you happy. I also agree with PP that the torso looks rather squat, and you are a very lovely size, it doesn’t seem to be doing you justice, id have her lengthen the torso to make sure you can get your girls in and not squished, and make sure the dresses waist matches your natural waist.
