I had my dress altered cause it was dragging on the floor then i look at it and it looks to short.
I pick it up on the 21rst can i tell them that i feel its to short and ask them to take it out a little/ do you think id have time to do that? Wedding October 22
Here is the before and after.
What do you guys think its it too short or is it fine?

It might actually be fine so that it doesn’t drag and you won’t trip, but it’s what you’re comfortable with. I think there is enough time to fix it if you want!

The thing is Im in flats for the wedding and its this short i didnt realize this until i came home and seen these pictures I wished i could have seen it when I was getting it altered.

It looks OK, but if they can lower it even an inch, it would look better.

Yeah, it’s too short. Your dress is supposed to be up enough to pass a flat hand between the hem and the floor.

It looks just a smidge too short. I’d have them fix it. And 30+days to alter a hem is more than enough time.

You should def ask for it to be let down slightly. They messed it up… because you definitely needed it hemmed… just not that much!

I agree – it’s just a bit too short

Just a teeny bit too short. You have time!

Hey I tried that dress on too! But I do agree it is a little short, but like everyone said you have time for them to let it down. If anything they can just take out a few pickups and that should solve the problem. I would talk to them ASAP though.
