I bought my wedding dress way in advance!!! why? because I decided to just go try on dresses and fell in loved with it 🙂 I still love the way it looks on me; however, the back is just a zipper. I’m thinking of eliminating the ziper and have buttons at the back or just a corset like back. I don’t really mind the zipper is just that i think it’ll look more romantic to have it changed to one of those options 🙂
You can see my dress here:
Could this be done on this dress?
Does anyone know how much does an alteration like this cost?
Thanks in advance, any input is appreciated 🙂

@mspurple: That should be an easy fix to add either! I love the first pic of that corset back!

The buttons would be the less expensive option. They are just sewn over huge flap of the zipper as decoration and may or may not have loops to fit over the buttons.
The corset would require taking out the zipper, re-shaping the back to open it into a V shape, adding the loops and making the lacing.
I know I haven’t answered queer cost question. all I can attest to with regards tcoast is that when I was a bridal consultant, no one ever went through with the change-to-a-corset option because of pricing. However, if its what you really want, it would be worth looking into.
