    1 or 2 (I like the idea of 2 slightly more)! 3 or 4 is going to probably look WAY over designed. I love the simplicity of your dress. However, is the seamstress confident that making your dress strapless will allow it to stay up? They would have to add boning too, no? That would be a major concern, bc the silk crepe like fabric looks pretty heavy.

    christinemm :  option 1 is your safest bet, as well as the one that preserves the design of the dress best (which is gorgeous). beware of option 2: it’s not as simple as adding fabric, you need to add a lot more *structure* in order for the dress to be supported properly to stay on. it won’t work without *extreme* recutting and making of the entire back.
