My advice: keep going! keep trying dresses on, you will find one!  and even if you don’t have an "it’s the ONE" moment … it doesnt’ mean that it isn’t the perfect dress.  Don’t be anxious. bring some friends, your mom, your fiance anyone!  Smile, it will work out, I promise. The dress is just a dress … it’s the groom that is forever 🙂

Considering there is always so much focus put on the dress I can understand this completely. I like simple but elegant dresses and when it comes to clothing…I’m very decisive. So, I found my dress the first day I went shopping (3rd dress I tried on). However, I’ve heard this story over and over again. It’s normal to be anxious because this is probably the biggest detail of your wedding that you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little girl. All I can say is just keep looking. Relax and try on as many beautiful gowns as you can. You will find it. And you’ll know you found it the second you try it on. 🙂 Good luck!

I agree with all above – keep trying. The dress should make you feel fabulous – don’t settle for less than that. I live in Buffalo, NY and just ordered my dress – less than 6 months out.

I am tall, so my search was twice as hard.  But nevertheless, even a small town like Buffalo had a dress for me. Mine is Mikaella. I love all of their dresses.

Good Luck!

Haven’t found mine yet either for my October wedding. Geting closer though. I also have not had an ah ha moment. I’m short and many dresses can’t be altered to fit correctly. I need a Hallow to Hem custom cut and not all makers offer this. I’m mainly considering Casablance.

I probably tried on close to 100 dresses.  I had all kinds of analysis paralysis.  I finally narrowed it down to 2 and couldn’t decide between them.  I finally figured out that they were both the wrong dress (though both had elements that I loved).  Inspired by Miss Snapdragon, I looked one more time and found the perfect dress!  It took some patience and dedication, though…

You’ll figure it out… rest assured!

As an Anjolique bride, I’ll say that I don’t think you can go wrong. 811 is beautiful, and every Anjolique gown I tried on felt luxurious (for half the price of other dresses of similar quality!).
