I’m hoping for some reassurance / advice. After spending ages searching, my bridesmaids dresses are on order and should be here soon. I spent a long time thinking about the colour to go for, then the day to order came and ever since then I’m hugely regretting what I chose and it’s really bothering me. It may be wedding nerves turning this into more of a problem than it really is, I’m not sure.
The colour I went for is darker than I originally liked, I feel I saw a dress that swayed me on the day of ordering. I’m panicking now that for a summer wedding the dresses will look so dark. All I see in anything wedding related is light dresses. I can’t change the order now and they were a lot of money.
Im not sure what I’m hoping to hear, but I’m driving myself mad thinking about it to the point it’s taking away some of my excitement. It’s just a dress after all…

Regardless of color, the focal point is you. I know you want to hear the the bridesmaids’ dress colors will make or break the wedding or how beautiful the wedding will be but it doesnt.
I don’t know if you’ve been to many weddings but I never ever look at the color of their dresses and go “ew, why did they choose THAT color, it just ruins the wedding” unless its a mini skirt or see through tops with too much skin.
A lot of bridesmaids choose black (darkest) while the bride wears white. Dark hues make the best photos of the bride because they stand out. I see so many wedding parties with a line of pale pink chiffon gowns that make the brides dress die. You spent thousands on something with beading, lace, and ruching to have it pale next to a sea of light colored dress?
I dont know what color this is but it spoke to you. It will speak to you again when you see your reception decor/bouqet/husbands boutonniere with this shade sprinkled throughout. Don’t worry about this. Enjoy the process so you can remember the feeling once its over
