I think it’s gorgeous and looks amazing on you!! But I’ve also seen so many dress regret threads on here… if you think you’re going to end up regretting it down the road, it’s probably not the right dress.

Shannn099:  I love the dress on you but I really think you need to hunt down the Mori Lee you didn’t get to try on. I’ve seen so much dress regret on here and if you can’t try it on you’ll either continue to search for dresses or you will regret not trying on the second dress and feel as though you are “settling” on a dress. The dress is a sample keep that in mind, it doesn’t appear in the picture to be the correct size so maybe thats why you feel like a cream puff. I don’t think you look like a cream puff, once its altered I think it would look perfect. Good luck with your decision!

You don’t look like a cream puff at all!  That dress is lovely!

There will always be another dress that you wished you had tried on.  Every bride goes through this.  What you need to do is focus on this dress and decide whether you would feel amazing in it on your wedding day.  Take a couple of days and think it over, maybe even visit another shop to try some other options.  Another few days is not going to jeopardize you getting a dress on time.

Shannn099:  Honey you are STUNNING in this dress!  You look absolutely gorgeous.  I do agree that if you can find that Mori Lee, you should try to find it so that you can try it on, otherwise it will always be on your mind though.  But I really do think that the above dress is your dress!

I agree that the dress is gorgeous and that you look great. But if you aren’t sure, then don’t buy it, or you  might end up with what the bee calls “dress regret”. Will you always be wondering “what if?” about the Mori Lee? Bottom line is: Get a dress that you are SURE about.

Personally I think you still have time to decide… that being said, I would make it a priority to try on more dresses and look for the other Mori Lee 🙂 Remember most manufacturer’s can do rush orders (although it might cost you slightly more)… but the cost for a rush order will be a lot less than having to buy a second dress because you regret the first dress you bought.  Good luck!!

p.s. The first dress is beautiful and you don’t look like a cream puff… I’ve personally tried on the second dress, it has a very unique colour and is very beautiful as well.

Shannn099:   The dress is lovely, but I’d suggest trying more dresses before deciding.  Have you tried different silhouettes and materials?  That might help you to feel more confident in a choice.  I really don’t want you to feel you have settled.  You may end up getting the dress in the photo above, but I think a bit more shopping will make you feel better about a decision.  Best of luck!

Sometimes salons will try and pressure you with your date to ge the sale!  I mean, yes, it takes a long time to get some dresses in, BUT like someone else said, rush orders are available!  I got so many conflicting dates from different salons on dress arrival times, sometimes for the exact same dress..it was nuts!  SO I eventually resorted to calling the designer directly, telling them exactly what I wanted and needed and got direct answers and then they spoke to my salon and we placed the order.  So yes try on more dresses and just leave yourself the window of time nesscearry to get that rush order in if you need it 🙂  I vote for def trying on teh other mori lee too before you pick!

If you’re not sure, don’t pull the trigger just yet. Try on a few more dresses elsewhere, then go back and try it on again afterwards. Better to pay a small amount of rush fees than be lumped with a dress you don’t love.

Shannn099:  If not 100% sold on it now, you probably won’t be…I think you should try on more dresses this weekend and try to find the one you are eyeing on so you can try it on

Find the dress you want to try on. Otherwise, dress regret will get you too.
