That’s a big gap considering you aren’t over weight! Losing that much weight in that short a time is probably going to make you feel like death. Go and look at the sample if that doesn’t work for you a corset back with panel under would look lovely or as someone suggested see if you can have a panel of lace fitted across that would look cool and a bit different. The bolero is nice but isn’t needed the dress looks great without one. I am the same though and I hate my arms I was certain I wanted them covered. I ended up with a strapless dress and you know what it’s actually more slimming on the arms then a bolero or straps because it shows the collar bone and then seamlessly down in to the arms which has an elongating slimming effect.

I also think you look stunning and don’t need to lose that much. I vote sample and no sleeves!

I think the bolero idea has some merit. Also think that checking out the size 12 sample is a good idea. It would be sad though to not wear that dress that looks so beautiful on you otherwise.

I think a corset back inserted into the gap may relieve all your worries. If I feel under any sort of pressure I eat so I tend to think that frantic dieting is just not wise and besides, you don’t look overweight at all.

I wish I had your gorgeous small waist and hourglass shape.

You look beautiful and that dress is GORG.  But I don’t think you could ever lose enough weight to fit into that dress – it’s not “fat”, you’d have to lose like 2 ribs and a few bra sizes!!

Go for the sample and have it altered and cleaned.  Or the corset thing if you can add a few inches in the back.

NO to the bolero – it would ruin the design of that dress!  Your arms are fine.

You’re not going to lose weight where you need to, so I would go with the corset option.   If it was the butt or the stomach…MAYBE you could keep pushing hard…but your bust/chest area?  That’s a pretty large gap..I don’t think its physically possible to change that area that fast.

Alter it with the corset..it will give you peace of mind and it will look beautiful.

crazybridejess :  your figure is amazing at the size that you are currently at. I honestly don’t think you need to lose anymore weight.  The reason the last 10-15 pounds have been so hard to shift for you is because you have no where to lose it from. You are curvy in all the right ways.

Don’t try to lose more weight…you don’t need to. Try the sample or have a panel of lace added to the back. I also think the gap could be cut in to look quite deliberate. I kind of like the shape that it creates.

Good luck in finding a solution. You will be beautiful no matter what!!!

Corset back, ASAP. Don’t change anything else — it looks great.

Simple. Get the bigger dress and alter it down and DO NOT add the jacket sleeves. It takes away the beauty of your dress and YOURSELF.  You look AMAZING just the way you are 🙂

Corset back, I think it’ll look great. You’d need to loose too many inches around your chest! I don’t think it’s possible or necessary but most of all, stressing about that for two months would be brutal.

I second all the votes to get the sample size. The best part of sizing down, is that the dress will be altered to fit you. It will look amazing! You want to feel the best you, not pressure to fit. Dresses are finnincky, so many different areas, and not a dress you wear often, so don’t worry about the dress size, focus on the fit.
