Could you post some pictures of you in your dress? It’s hard to comment without having seen it!

that dress is gorgeous! but it all matters how you feel. Just remember though, your dilemma is common. I never posted about it here, but even after I bought my dress in March (and I never had that “oh! this is the one” weepy moment – I just really liked it), I kept looking at more dresses and had serious doubts. However now, I keep wanting to put it back on! It’s perfect and I can’t wait to wear it on Saturday.

I had a similar experience. I was in love with Soterro and Midgley’s Adorae. Went to the dealer and they didnt have it in stock but they could have ordered it for me anyway. I still wanted to actually try on a dress. I tried on Dakota and it was very pretty. My Bridesmaids and fi were gushing and absolutely loved it. Didnt see anything else in the store I wanted to try and working off of their energy I ordered it. I was over the moon initially. Then Adorae started creeping back in to my head and literally giving me nighmares. I also never had “this is the one” weepy moments and that started making me doubt dakota even more. But then I wouldnt be able to try Adorae. After much agonizing I decided to just go with the flow and stick with the Dakota, its a beautiful dress and on the most special day of my life I think I would look beautiful either way.

Now that I vented my little story I think your dress is stunning but you have time so if you really dont see yourself in it its not too late to change.

So I wasn’t in love with my dress when I bought it. I liked it and it had everything my husband liked when we looked at dress pictures, so I bought it. Everytime I put it on, I loved it a little more. On the wedding day, I loved everything about my dress. Yes, I look at other dresses, but my dress is my dress and I love it. I really want to do bridal pictures so I can wear it again.

Have you had it altered to fit you? How many times have you gone shopping? Is there someone who can give you honest opinions to you about you in your dress? I bought mine by myself and it was really hard.

Am totally in your situation… but I refuse to commit to a dress… but Im over shopping… I feel like i keep putting on dresses and one is the same as the next… they are all beautiful and I feel pretty in it.. .theres nothing I particular dislike about the dresses… but then i think should I be like in love with the dress?? Giving it a few more days and then just gunna rip off the bandaid and buy one and be done with it… its only a dress and you only wear it once… whats the big deal right?

I love this dress but you have to love it.  I switched my dress twice.  However, when I finally found the right one, I was never tempted again.    However, I still have a dress that I haven’t been able to sell.  The two dresses and alterations were still about my original budget, but it would be nice to have the $$$.  Take that into consideration–can you afford another dress?  If so, I recommend you take a couple weeks’ break, then look a little more.  And keep trying on your dress, accessortize it, etc.  You might fall in love with it!
