I’m not positive but i think it might be just a little bit too tight? Maybe see if they think taking it out a little at the sides would help?

Good luck! its a beautiful dress!

teacherbride926:  I am always amazed when seamstresses say these things. The dress is bunching at the waist because it needs to be let out just a smidge at the hips. When the dress is too tight, it cannot slide down over the hips and bunches at the waist.

I agree with the above bees. It needs letting out a smidgen. Get another seamstress.

Yep mine did that pre-alterations, she let it out slightly at the hips and it was perfect.

My dress also did this.  They added some extra boning that helped a bit.  Steaming it helped a bit.   Still bunched on wedding day.  I survived.  I know it’s not the answer you want, but it’s really something only the bride notices.

It looks a bit big on the bust? As it looks like the bunching is from it drooping. Are you wearing a bra under it? Strapless dresses cant defy gravity and a bigger bust needs support. Either a good bra or some extra boning and support to the dress would be a good idea! It looks gorgeous though so don’t get caught up on the bunching its a stunning dress on you.

The lining is probably not the right fabric which can result in bunching. Or the lining is stiches in to tighly with no give
