i wouldn’t add a lace bolero…maybe satin instead? unless you can get the exact same lace by ordering it from maggie, your lace patterns will clash and look way too busy.

I may be biased because I wore a lace bolero, but I think a bolero would look great with that dress.  The girl who made mine (Holly Stalder…she has an Etsy page) makes custom boleros, and I’ve seen some of hers in a chiffon material that would also probably work with that dress (maybe add some lace to it).  I think satin is too heavy for that dress though.  I would stick to lighter fabrics.

i agree that satin would be too heavy n shiny for that dress.. but am not really a fan of lace on lace though…

The dress is gorgeous by itself. I think adding the bolero would take away from it.

I honestly think you should go with your gut and what makes you feel happy. If that’s lace then go for it! I had a friend wear a lace bloero over a lace Essence dress and she looked devine on the day.

I’ve also noticed that lace boleros are in stores that carry summer collections right now for a fraction of the price on etsy!
