I am having my veil made but it will be ivory/off-white to match my dress.

I wasn’t interested in paying much for my veil either.  I ended up buying mine at a bridal sale for 29.99. I bought it in ivory hoping that it would match my dress and it did!

I wore an ivory veil with a light ivory dress if that helps!

Veils are sheer so the color differences between the different shades are not even delectable unless you’re really studying it. So I wouldn’t worry. My dress was “off white” and veil was ivory.

It will be fine! I bought an ivory veil to go with my light gold dress, and it was basically WHITE. Now I’m looking for a new one…

I went to a very well-known veil maker here in Manhattan in the garment district called Sposabella Lace- we were buying the tulle and lace so that my mother could make my veil. The owner of the shop, who has had that store for nearly 30 years told me- you either buy the tulle in IVORY or stark white, that’s it! Like a pp said, you can barely detect the color difference. I was worried because my dress is an in-between color but in the end, it looked perfect!

I doubt you’ve even be able to tell any way you go. I have a dark ivory dress with a pale ivory veil but the veil is so sheer and see-through I really couldn’t tell you what color it was just by looking at it. The consultant showed me the only true way to see the color is to bunch it up together in an area.

My dress and veil were both ivory but my veil brighter/whiter than my dress. Not a big deal, I had a hard time finding a pic where there was enough contrast to tell there was a difference

Try lightinthebox.com I purchased my veil from there for less than $20. I only plan on wearing it for the ceremony and pictures, and it’s perfect for what I want it for! My dress is white, and so is the veil.

My dress is a pale ivory and my veil will be a silk ivory :), but tbh i didn’t notice much of a difference when the veil was white because my dress isn’t very yellow anyway ^^.
