I just went through that crazy roller coaster, and the best advice I can give is to stop focusing on the pictures of you trying on the dress and focus on how you felt in the dresses. Don’t even think about everyone else’s reactions, just how you felt in each one.

I fell in love with a strapless lace dress the first day I went dress shopping and my mom and Maid/Matron of Honor agreed. But then I wanted to keep looking and I tried on a keyhole lace dress–my mom and Maid/Matron of Honor LOVED it, and I thought it was beautiful, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I looked too old. I tried back on the strapless dress and they liked it, but liked the keyhole more. So I went home and mulled over the situation for a few weeks. I kept looking at the pictures of me in the dresses and kept getting co confused. But then I stopped looking and started remembering how *I* felt in each dress and despite everyone’s reactions I couldn’t stop thinking about the strapless lace dress and how amazing I felt in it. When I told them a few weeks later that I wanted to go with the strapless lace, they both had forgotten how beautiful it really was since they were so focused on the keyhole dress, and agreed it’s the better dress for *me*.

As for your fiance, when he sees you on your wedding day I seriously doubt he’s going to be thinking about the material of your dress πŸ˜› you’re going to look beautiful and all he’ll be able to think about is how breathtaking his new wife looks!

Stop trying on dresses for a couple of weeks. Don’t look at the photos. And stop looking at dresses completely. You are driving yourself crazy. You still have some time to choose.

@Crazyhair:  Don’t look at photos, don’t try on any more dresses and your mind will naturally make up its own mind. For what its worth I love the Karena Royale on you

I wish I had something useful to add, but @vintage_vee said it perfectly.  And with a personal story, too.  πŸ™‚

Agree with the above posters.  All those gowns look great on you.  Just don’t dwell on the photos and on how you feel in the dresses.

Honestly, I prefer your very first dress a lot more.

(I think I’d quite like a dress that outlined my butt cheeks lol although it could distract your guests as you walk down the aisle!!)

I love the first dress but the pic of the second dress makes it hard to tell what the front looks like. You should step away from dress shopping for a little while, stop looking at the pics and just stop thinking about it. You will be surprised how much clearer the decision is when you go back. Heck it might not even be one of the two.

Follow your heart and your instinct. Try not to fuss too much about what your fiancé will think, a dress is a dress to them – what’s important is that you’re wearing it. In my opinion the Karena is stunning, I love the neckline but having said that we can only see the Casa from the back. Concentrate on how the dress made you feel and the reactions you received from the people you trust.

@Crazyhair:  If a 5 year old does that face when you try on the dress – you know you found THE one! lol!  Did she have her tongue slightly out as well?  If so!  Go Casablanca!!  Your face looks like a grown up version of how the 5 year old looks so I’d say you know the answer as well!
