Hi all! This is my very first post so hopefully I’m doing it right. I ordered my dress back in October and it had a crease that really bothered me, but I was assured it was just too tight and would go away once it fit right. I’ve lost about 30 lb and the dress zips easily, but the crease is still there!!! Not sure if it has to do with the boning or what. It is the maggie sottero Lorie with a zipper back and inner corset. I attached pictures of me wearing it at 3 different weights and each have the crease. Help!! Thanks guys!

stephstews: Have they steamed the dress? Maybe it will come out when they do, it might just be in there till then

It looks to me like the width and curve of your hips might be pulling at the underlayer of the dress at the sides and causing it to rise in the center to make the crease…I’ve had that happen to me before. Have you tried pulling the underlayer down to see if that diminishes the crease?

PP above has a very good point , and if she is right , it’s easily fixed. I wonder if the top is not a tad too big for you now too?
But really , I just came here to say how great you look – at all your weights actually, but especially now .

This is actually a pretty common problem! They cut the inner layer of gowns a touch smaller than the lace overlays so it flows, but sometimes they cut them too snug. Letting out the lining and underlay a tad through the hips should resolve it.
