Hey everyone…I love this website it has been so helpful to hear real opinions and ideas. Now that I am engaged I have a question?? If I were to do a beach wedding with only a dinner to follow, what type of dress should I wear? We would probably have about 50 people but no dancing, just a dinner celebration. Should I keep it more casual? floor length dress still ok? Not sure how I feel about it…

I think if you want to, a floor length dress is still completely appropriate. Maybe something flowy, though, versus a more structured ballgown style. Have you seen the Maggie Sottero dresses designed for destination weddings? There are some pretty styles there; I love the high-waisted and Grecian-looking ones.
Future Sister-In-Law just got married in a gorgeous, flowy J. Crew gown so you might look at those, too, for ideas.
I think you should really wear whatever you like best and suits your budget!

@BunnyBrideToBe:Thanx for the feedback! I think I would do a more flowy type gown, but still bridal. I have not checked the Maggie Sotterro dresses, but I will now!
