I happen love the 2nd MS. Its the gown ill be wearing on my wedding day. I chose it because it wasn’t real Wedding Bride-ish. It’s classy and elegant. It has a gorgeous lace button see thru back, and a small manageable train.

    You look lovely.

@Chunkyswifey143:  I agree with your fiance, the first dress looks like grapes falling down it.  The other two dresses are nice BUT based on your description of yourself, and your pictures, I think you need something more edgy.  You have a great figure & I think you would look awesome in either of these gowns from Davids Bridal.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I LOVE the Mikado on you! I just went to DB today to try the Melissa Sweet line, and it’s so much more beautiful in person! And I think it looks great on you, and goes with your look!

@Chunkyswifey143:  OOh, I didn’t realize the train was detachable! Cool! I didn’t try on that style (I’m hippy, it wouldn’t have fit me), I had the ballgown on for a good long while. It’s a contender! The Melissa Sweet line is gorgeous!

You should totally go back and get the Mikado. Fiance always say crazy shit, they don’t know what they are supposed to say. My Fiance called a $10,000 Monique Lhuillier gown “cheap, and looks like a dishtowel”. LOL. They are men. Get the dress you love. Come the wedding day, he will love YOU in the dress. He won’t care about the embriodery.

If you don’t like dresses that are too bridal, have you thought of trying some designers that do simpler designs, e.g. these by Sue Wong:

BHLDN (has some that may be in your price range)

    Also:

    Tadashi Shoji

    Ann Taylor

    J-Crew

    Ruche

I really love #2 but I am a vintage girl.  The first one does nothing for your figure and I have to agree wiht your man on the falling grapes.  Good luck!
