@Chunkyswifey143:  I love the second dress on you!  It sounds as though you’re not really into an overly “bridal” look, though.  Are you open to trying other dresses with a similar shape?  I think that fit really suits your body, but you shouldn’t buy it if it doesn’t feel right to you.

@Chunkyswifey143: I love the last one on you. But if you dont want to look overly bridal, try looking at Wai-Ching.

I love the second dress on you seeing that you will have your tattoo finished it will add an edge to the dress.  It will add an awesome pop of colour too.

The 2nd the 3rd dresses are so much more flattering on you, they really define your waist. I think I prefer the 2nd a bit more.

If you aren’t sure though, keep looking. I doesn’t sound as though these dresses are what your really looking for as they are all quite bridal and traditional

@Chunkyswifey143:  The two Sue Wong dresses I posted are both available at Bloomingdales. As I am in Australia it is showing the prices as $600 and $737 Australian respectively. At the moment, that’s pretty close to the same amount in US dollars, maybe $20 different or something.

ETA: I second the Wai Ching dresses – I think you’d rock that with your tattoo and edgy style. They are all within your budget too.

I actually like the Mikado on you, it reminds me of a Marchesa dress. I would think that the proper fit would make it more flattering.

I’m going to go against the grain and say I don’t like the second dress, I don’t think it’s that flattering (it seems to flare out at the wrong spot on you and accentuates your hips more than the others). I also think it’s overtly bridal and that doesn’t seem to be what you’re going for.

I like the third dress, I think it’s actually the most flattering. It makes you look more hourglass, your proportions are perfect in it.

@Chunkyswifey143:  three! the last one flatters your shape and will show off that sleeve. The second is ok but cuts off your lovely tatto. i say show off your body and body art!

The second one!!! It’s very flattering on your figure AND it’s not too bridal-ly… it will look too bridal-ly if you put too much accesories, but with a gorgeous flower down low on your bun just under the ear would give you such a classy and timeless look 🙂

    good luck!

@Chunkyswifey143:  I love the third one on you! I agree with your Fiance about the first one and the “falling grape bunches.” The cap sleeves on the second dress look a little matronly. The third one fits your shape beautifully.

@Chunkyswifey143:  I think i prfer the Mikado!!! something about the shape of it looks fab! I do see how the design looks like grapes loll..but i think it will look really cool with ur sleeve.  My second choice would be the melissa sweet vintage!!

u look fab in all of them so its really jus a matter of personal taste!

@Junip3r:  I agree with her, that first dress is elegant and out of the box, interesting  in a good way! Boy that bustled back is really pretty!

If course pp here are gonna like that 2nd dress, they are brides. You asked a bunch of brides to support you in choosing the non-bridal look. doh.  Kiss

But I do think that even if it fits better, it’s not going to show off your figure like #2 and #3. #3 is a rich and elegant dress by the way, very nice.
