Vineyard and Melissa Sweet’s Reverie (and maybe her new Jewel line) are economical… well compared to PoB’s main lines. They might be the top of your budget, but Vineyard especially has really clean lines. I think the silhouette you’re looking for is “Fit and flare.” That’s what I went with- it’s really flattering. Another idea- if you don’t find the one (dress) you love this weekend- is to get a dress second hand (I did!) at a sample sale, on bridepower.com, oncewed.com, or preownedweddingdresses.com, or brides against breast cancer. It’s cheaper and greener πŸ™‚

Ohh another date twin! Look at Maggie Sottero for sure! She makes lots of trumpet / sweeteart gowns (mine is!) and the most expensive I’ve seen is just over $1,000. Good luck and have fun! πŸ™‚

Also if you like Pronovias, you might like La Sposa, and I think they are a little less expensive than Pronovias.
