So I found 2 dresses I LOVE. The first has everything and I adore it except it was a size 6 and I couldn’t try it on. It has a drop waist which worries me as my hip area is my trouble spot(dress A). The second fit perfectly, and had a gorgeous shape but needed a little tweaking to make it perfect by adding some bling and detailing on the skirt (dress B).
So I have been searching madly for online photos of dress B to show my mom, and I cant find ANY, anywhere. I had the designer name, but not the style number, and I was told it was a “new” design. So I thought it must be the fall collection…nope. It’s DISCONTINUED and has been for 2 YEARS! No idea how the shop I found it in got a new one in stock, but she has promised me she can re-order, even though another salon showed me the discontinued notice from 2009, plus the fact it’s no longer on the pricelist. I am so distressed as I LOVE the style and fit!
However, dress A I have madly searched and found a local salon that will be getting it in in a size 18, that I can try on!
So, I impatiently wait for the sample in size 18 to arrive so I can try, and I hope it’s perfect, otherwise I will be trying to purchase the sample dress from the other store…
Here are the 2 dresses:
Dress A- Ella Rosa 211257
And dress B that is discontinued, Mon Cheri BE16

I absolutely love Dress A. I’m honestly not so keen on dress B, I don’t think the fabric looks as nice. I’d definitely see how you get on when you can try on the sample.

Dress A is AMAZING!
Honestly… B completely pales in comparison.
Cannot wait to hear how it goes when you try on dress A!

Thanks ladies, the fit on dress B was perfect…and it is actually really pretty in the flesh, it’s a shiny chiffon overlay with the pickups, looks like whipped cream when it’s on, but dress A is just SO gorgeous! I am hardly able to contain myself waitiing for it in a size I can get into!

I definitely prefer dress A. My fingers are crossed that it will be a perfect fit!

Please be sure that, if you are ordering dress B that it is authentic and not a chinese replica being sold as a real one.
That being said, I like the first one better.

So, update, I am still waiting on dress A to come into the local shop in my size so I can try her on, and I am still holding onto hope it’s perfect. BUT I found anoter one, that I am SO in love with:
I think I’ve found “my” dress with this one! It covers every unhappy spot I have, and if I don’t lose another pound, I still feel stunning in it. What do you think?
