@JlovesM:  You have time to experiment! Just make sure for all these changes you go to a professional. This is a very drastic change and the only way you would realistically know how the best version of it would look like is if you trust a professional to do it. Do not stress if you hate it, you have time. Just be nice to your hair in the mean time because you don’t want to damage it right before the wedding.

Allure’s ivory is the lightest ivory out there, at least that’s what I was told, and I found that my dress, which is an Allure in ivory, is by far the lightest ivory dress I tried on.  I wouldn’t worry at all! Also, your dress is mostly lace, I think lace looks WAY better in ivory than white personally, it looks more vintage and glamorous! My dress is satin and I tried on a white satin dress, and an ivory satin dress, so glad I went with ivory! It looks much more natural and sophisticated than white to me.
