Can you call the owner of the shop? Tell them you KNOW that the stain appeared afterwards and you don’t appreciate the dishonesty? If something happ9ened to your dress at that shop, they have to fix that, and usually that is done by replacing the dress. So of COURSE they’re trying to blame you!

Explain the situation to the head honcho and see if you can get some magic worked. Explain the cost of having it fixed when it is THEIR fault. Stress that there is NO WAY that spot was there first or you never would have bought it.

Oh man. I can see how you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. Maybe it’s iced tea or coffee? Maybe they know what it is so they can get it out? Maybe they can overlay it with something to cover it up…?

Try to get it clean first, then….see if you can beg and plead and get a rush on it! It’s not like they dropped chromic acid on it…so likely it’s a liquid and she was careless and figured she could blame you. Coffee and tea BOTH COME OUT! Try not to stress…

Oh geez – I appreciate that you’re stuck in a hard place, but I would be raising HELL over this!  Especially since you’re sure it was them.  Wow – it really sucks that you have to deal with this.  Kudos for being so cool and collected when dealing with them – I’m not sure I’d have that self control.  🙂
