I *love* the first dress – I almost bought it when I got mine πŸ™‚ I didn’t find it too heavy or traditional, I thought it was a fun, modern, casual style.

But… you need to do what you feel best in.

    Good luck!

Wow, this sounds JUST LIKE ME!

Dress #1…Mom flew in from out of state to go dress shopping with me…I tried one on and it made her cry so I thought this must be the one!  Wrong.  So Wrong, after getting it home I realized it was NOT the one, so…

Dress #2…I kept feeling it was too heavy and traditional for beach wedding…so I took dress back to DB and they said I could exchange it for something more expensive…so I hurried and found one that wasn’t that much more….it’s okay.  I like it, but didn’t feel it was the perfect dress for my beach wedding, but I had it altered and everything thinking “it will do”

Dress #3…I kept “looking” even though I had a dress…I found THE ONE, but it was way out of my price range, so I googled it and found it cheap online, ordered it….33 days before my wedding!!  I have not received it yet, but I’m soooo hoping it comes in time and I love love love it as much as I did in the boutique.

I was soooo worried about hurting my mom’s feelings and exchanging the dress she bought me, but suprisingly she was very supportive, a little irritated but said in the end, she just wants her daughter to feel beautiful and perfect!

Now, I LOVE both the dresses you have above…both look beachy to me and not at all traditional and heavy…but I think I prefer the second one over the first, it seems very light and airy which I think you sound like is more what you’re wanting…?

I like the 2nd dress. It’s less traditional but still very fab!

I like the second one more. But I think they are both beautiful and could both work! And you can always play a little with the accessories to make it match your venue more.
