Just thought I’d ask for some opinions on this. I’ve been reading posts for a while and gotten some amazing ideas but can’t seem to find this topic.
My dress is a long, silk, bias cut – very 1930’s-ish. I love the length. Our reception will be mainly salsa/merengue music so I originally thought I would wear a reception dress. I’ve purchased 2 dresses and I doubt both of them. It’s too much stress because in addition to planning this wedding (that will be in Peru) from the US, we are also planning our move there (in 2 months!!).
So, I started thinking I should alter the dress to a hi-lo hemline and then just bustle the very short train. Any thoughts?

Thinking of having the front shortened, something like this: http://a1216.g.akamai.net/f/1216/955/6h/images2.nordstrom.com/ImageGallery/store/Product/MediumLarge/9/_5171729.jpg
What do you think? Should I shorten it or go with a reception dress?????
