I need some serious help. I found a dress that I LOVE – and then found out the price was only $499!! Holy smokes right? My mom and bridesmaids love it as well. I have yet to pull the trigger and make the purchase though because of a few things:
1. My mom loves the sash I put on with the dress. I love it too (it’s so sparkly in person) but I don’t know how well it goes with the dress.
2. What veil do I wear? All the ones I tried on in the store just were not wow-ing me.
3. Is it TOO plain? I keep questioning this!
Let me know what you think – I appreciate any feedback!

I don’t think it’s plain at all, it’s stunning. You look great!

I don’t think it’s too plain at all. I do like the look of a blingy belt but that particular one just doesn’t look right to me. I think it’s a little too thick, I would try to find one that’s a little thinner but still really blingy.
Do you know what length you want the veil? I prefer cathedral length (I actually had a super blinged out cathedral veil made) but some brides lean towards shorter veils.

Dress is gorgeous but I think the belt is wayyy too thick. I’m not into super extravagant veils so I would probably something long but plain, just a simple cathedral length one.

@Lyndzo: Thank you!
@IzzyBear: I think I’m leaning toward cathedral as well. I love the look of this veil so I’ll probably take it to the store and look for something similar:
They had one I tried on but it had a weird short layer that came further forward than the long layer.
And you are so right! I think the thickness of that sash is what’s throwing me off. I need to try a thinner one for sure. Thanks so much!

@sparklerunner: that veil is beautiful. I would definitely do a single layer cathedral veil…unless you really want a blusher. And definitely try on a thinner belt and post another picture 😉

Loving the dress – but I agree with another poster, the belt should be narrower, In My Humble Opinion, since the dress has that drop waist effect. Super gorge!

@sparklerunner: Oh how pretty! I would wear a long veil (at least fingertip length) with that gown. You shouldn’t worry about it being too plain! It is a gorgeous dress and you wear it well!
