Is it normal to have second thoughts about your dress? I always thought that it was supposed to be like “the one” and no regrets.
First off I HATE DRESS SHOPPING. I wish I could be one of those excitable brides that just loves everything about being a bride but I think I am too self conscious and too impresssionable to make up my mind. I like making everyone else happy.
I found a dress I absolutely loved. It was a Madeline Garnder ballgown, sweetheart shaped, sparkly one. Something I’s never consider in a million years. I always wanted a simple gown. Anyway, it was my first trip so I decided to sleep on it and go to one boutique my Mom suggested.
There I found a gorgougous lace sweetheart shaped Pronovias gown the my Mom and Maid/Matron of Honor basically wouldn’t let leave without purchasing it. So I did. Here comes the regret…..
The first boutique did not allow pics so I couldn’t even compare the two. Now I am having severe second thoughts. I feel silly and the dress is such a little detail to worry about. I mean a bride looks gorgeous is whatever she wears. My Mom says I am being ridiculous. My groom says buy another dress. My Maid/Matron of Honor says the one I bought definitely looks the best. Advice?
