your pics didn’t show up hun.

well yes, i have two dresses and have a third being made. changed my mind on first dress, was possibly going to wear as a reception dress, found the second dress, was exactly what i wanted! THEN found out I am expecting so getting a baby bump friendly empire waist dress made…

Not sure what to tell you except I’m having a helluva time selling my other two, its not quite as simple as I thought. Maybe your dresses are more desirable though and you’ll have an easier time, but I am regretting spending $3000+ combined on my first two dresses and now I’m getting an equally amazing replica made for less than $300….

try to post the pics, would love to see them! Good Luck!!!

hmmm, still no pics, I’d love to comment though! Usually I’m on the side of the original decision, but I looked up the Kenneth Pool Gown and it’s pretty freakin pretty!

Why don’t you see if you can see the first two to make up the cost of the original dress you fell in love with?

If money is no object, you should just get the Kenneth Pool dress.  It sounds like you are IN LOVE with it.  I don’t think selling wedding dresses is as easy as you think, and you definitely won’t get as much as what you paid for them (especially if you wear them). If money IS an object, then you should probably just wear one of the dresses you already have, and try to sell the other one.

Honestly, I think that you look stunning in all of them, but my favorite on you BY FAR was the first dress. It looks more classic and timeless than the other two dresses and the back of it is amazing!!! I obsessed about my dress and was seriously considering buying a second one for a couple of weeks, but I didn’t want to obsess about it anymore so I decided not to look at ANY other dresses.

If you don’t have the money to spend on a third dress, I would just wear the first one and try selling the second one in the meantime (it didn’t sound like you were super excited about it, although it looks GREAT on you as well!) Let us know what you decide and good luck!!

PS: No matter what dress you wear, you are getting married to the man of your dreams and he will think that you look amazing!

GET.THE. KENNETH.POOL.!!!!!!!!  It is incredible!!  I know I should give more sensible advice, but I just absolutely adore that dress.  Now I understand why you are obsessing over it.  The beading, the cut, the fabric….it’s just amazing ๐Ÿ™‚

I know how you feel. I fell in love with my Jim Hjelm and no other dress lived up to it after I tried it on.  I splurged and it was totally worth it.  I still get compliments on my dress (and my wedding was 8 months ago!)  I decided that since the Jim Hjelm was twice my originally set budget, that i would sell the dress and hoped to get at least half of what I paid for it.  I did sell it and got more than half what I paid for it.

In the end, I wouldn’t change a thing.  I loved wearing that dress and now another bride gets to enjoy it as well.  As for keeping a hand-me-down for any future daughters…I kept both my veils, shoes, jewelry and bag.  I think these items are more easily recycled anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck to you!

I’m really not liking the 3rd dress. I think the back of the 2nd is gorgeous… I’m not sure about the front. I think I like the front of the 1st, but the back is blah. Its hard to see either way.
