I always thought I’d get a reception dress for my wedding – I love to dance and I get really hot/sweaty very easily. But now I’m starting to worry that it might not be worth the extra expense. My wedding dress is the Tara Keely 2108 (http://www.jlmcouture.com/Tara-Keely/Bridal/Favorites/Style-2108) and I love it… but I can’t stop thinking about this Watters dress – the Arabesque (I posted a pic below). I found one close to my size at a discounted rate ($650). What do you girls think? Is it worth it?

If it’s in your budget, I’d say go for it, but I don’t think getting a second dress is worth blowing your budget on. I think the other dress is GORG, so it’s not like you wouldn’t feel beautiful in that one too 🙂 You’ll probably be dancing a good deal, but you’ll also be spending a lot of time not dancing as well because everyone will be wanting to talk to you. Just something to consider!

Hot. I agree with PP, buy it if you can afford it!

I love the second dress concept. I had one BUT I kept it in a strict budget of under $300 because, to me it was not a major budget item. Have you tried looking at department stores for similar options that may be easier on your budget?
Also, is your first dress ivory and your second one white? I almost did this but it was driving e insane to choose either ivory or white in my overall color scheme and that was something I never imagined when I bought the white dress first.

HonestlyHonestly, I wouldntodo I it. your original dress is gorgeous, and you won’t get to wear it very long. If its in your budget and thou don’t care how long you wear your first Dress go for it.
