Hive,
I never thought I would write to you all for a vote, but here I am. There are three dresses in play here. I know which one I am leaning toward, but curious to see what others think.
Please note, I am a size 14, and two of these dresses did not close in the back. The waists will be more defined (and I will be thinner!) for my wedding in 14 months!
Reem Acra Laurel: (We added a belt here, not sure that I would actually wear it that way)

Watters Norma (when this is in my size, the gap in the ruffles won’t be there)

Anne Barge Quinn (i illegially took this photo, LOL):

Curious to see what the Hive has to say.
**Please forgive my various ridiculous expressions. I can’t stop talking long enough for anyone to snap a decent photo, apparently.**

personally, I love cap sleaves, but I think those cap sleaves have something slightly off about them, maybe they are just not fitted right? I would vote for the a-line, its def the most flattering so far

I like the first dress but I agree that there’s something odd about the cap sleeves. Maybe the fit or the material isn’t quite right? So I voted for #2 because you look great in both!

@viewfrmhere:
@globalmargaret: Yes, the cap sleeves are not in the correct place. Because this sample is an 8, and also because my consultant managed to close the top button – which would have been ok, except it moved the bodice too far up (the waist is way above my natural waist) and therefore the sleeves look off.
Here’s the fancy model pic:

I voted for the third dress. I know the first two are not your size, but the do no favors for your chest (sorry! Just trying to be helpful!) maybe in the correct size, it would be different?

@BlondeBee: Girl, don’t worry! It’s nothing I haven’t already said to myself! 😉
I think in the case of the #1, the dress is just WAY too tight, I was bound flat like a 12 year old boy. #2, I think, may just be unflattering in the bust area. #3 was the only one that truly fit.

Probably doesn’t help, but I like the top of the last one and the bottom of the 1st one. Add a cute sash and be done!

I actually love the third one the best. So simple and beautiful, leaving your silhouette clean and complicated. But then again my second choice would be the second one, for all the opposite reasons (drama of the skirt- very feminine and I personally love layers). Let us know which one you’re leaning towards!

I liked #2 the best. The skirt looks beautiful on you and I think it’ll look even better once you get the right fit.
