I like your second dress better, too!!
This happened to me also. I went to a Maggie Sottero Trunk Show and ended up buying Cambria – the sample was in Pearl. I absolutely loved the fit and it went with my wedding theme & venue. I ordered Diamond White without seeing it in person. I started getting a nagging feeling that I should have bought SaBelle-which I had tried on the previous day at another salon. Long story short, even though over a month had passed since I had placed my order the salon checked on her computer to see if the dress had been cut, which it showed it hadn’t. The owner of the salon said she was 99% sure it could be cancelled. She was able to cancel it and applied my deposit to my SaBelle. I know I was lucky that I worked with an honest store owner–she could have easily lied that it had been cut and then could have told me I would lose my deposit or even have to pay for the first dress in full – I am SO glad I spoke up and feel much better about my second choice!! Good luck to you!

I started to change my mind about my dress after seeing all those stupid dress shows on TLC, but I’m going to “make it my own” and change it up a little bit. I know I’ll still be happy w/ it, but.. there will ALWAYS be a dress you like more than the one you eneded up with. I guess I’m just trying to think of it that way!

I called the salon, but the dress has already been put into production and is set to arrive the end of feb. So my fiance said, I know it’s going to cost a pretty penny but I want you to be happy so if you have to buy a second dress, just do it. I COULDN’T believe he said that. I felt a little guilty for doing something like that but to me the dress is one of the most important things, so I went to the same store to try on the other ones I was really interested in. … turns out the first one that’s on order looks the best on me anyways and I fell in love with it all over again. The biggest deterrant is the fact that the sample in the store is actually in antique silver…..which is whats throwing me off. The lady brought it up on the computer and changed the colour of the dress so I could see what it will look like in diamond white and TA-DA! dress of my dreams! 🙂
The other ones are still very beautiful but the one I initially bought is the winner. Some of you may not be a fan of it but I’m the one that has to love it, and that I do! It looks fantastical!

I totally know how you feel how about this. I got my dress the night after the proposal (over a year before the wedding). It was 3rd dress-out of the 24… yes I said it, 24 dresses that I tried on. I drove the boutique crazy. But I had to be sure.
Even after all that I still got a little anxious. So what did I do? My wedding planner was amazing and even had me go in and talk to my dress. Try it on, play in it. Change my veil…. my shoes… anything I wanted to be sure that it was the one.
All is said and done and I look back on the wedding pics and I’m still in love with my dress. So much so that once one of my friends gets married in April we are all (6 of us former brides) going out in them for a night on the town photoshoot! Awesome ha? I can’t wait to wear it again.
Congrats on falling in love with your dress again. I’m sure you will be stunning in it.
