Go with what you love.  The dress is probably so popular because it’s a great dress!

Who, exactly, are you trying to “stand out” to? Your SO? I guarantee that (s)he will only have eyes for you on your wedding day. Your guests? You are the bride; it’s impossible to not stand out. The Bee? We are a whole lotta strangers. Pay us no mind. Wedding blogs? Again, strangers of no consequence. As long as you feel beautiful in your dress, you should not waste another second of time or energy looking at other dresses. Be kind to yourself and don’t make this more difficult and demanding than it needs to be.

Buy whatever dress you love AND makes you feel good. If it’s a popular dress, that must mean it’s a pretty awesome dress right?!

I’d probably do the same thing. As far as I know I’m the only bride that ever had my dress and my Darling Husband was thrilled by that! I like to be unique though so it played a part in the dress I chose to wear to match my personality.

I’m not really sure I understand. You love a dress, but you suddenly don’t like it because other brides like it/similar ones to it?

Doesn’t that seem a little bit silly? Weddings aren’t competitions, and it isn’t like there are going to be 40,000 other brides at your wedding that you need to look different from.

There’s going to be one bride at your wedding and you should wear whatever you want. I doubt your future children (if any) will look at your dress and go, “Tee hee, mom wore the same thing everyone else did.”

I’ve actually never seen another bride on here or anywhere in that dress. I see alot of the same, but not that one.

The dresses I like are all dresses I see a lot on the Bee, but in real life, I’ve never seen the dresses I like on a bride. On your wedding day your FH will only have eyes for you, and no one is going to care that they might have seen another bride wearing the same dress. Stick with what you love.
